Tree Blown Into Hunterdon County Garage With Homeowner Inside: Firefighters

A Lambertville homeowner received quite the scare when a large tree crushed his garage while he was inside of it on Monday, March 11, authorities said.

Strong winds were to blame for the tree blowing over at 3:08 p.m., the City of Lambertville Fire District #1 said on Facebook.

No injuries were reported, firefighters said and the scene was eventually cleared.
